Dear Zion Family,
Greetings Women of Zion!
Bishop Melanie Rogers Miller and Dr. Lisa Moore (co-hosts) invite YOU to a free Women's History Month five-week series entitled "Crown Conversations" every Sunday in March at 8:00 PM EST on Zion Platforms (e.g., Facebook, YouTube, and AMEZTV). The series features conversations with women from across Zion on topics relevant to women. The first episode, led by Dr. Moore and Bishop Miller, debuts this Sunday, March 1st.
In addition to joining the Crown Conversations (2C) remotely, AME Zion Women can also submit a professional (work) headshot listing one of the 2C quotes OR a five second video stating your name and speaking one 2C quote (Not the name of the woman who gave the quote or other information). The photos will be displayed as part of collages during the Crown Conversations each week, and the videos will be streamed during the month. Submit the photos and video clip by March 9th to the AME Zion Communication Office's using their Drop Box link: https://www.dropbox.
For the quotes and more information, see the flier below. Please share with women across Zion. See the attached flyer for more information. The official announcements were delayed in production due to scheduling conflicts but should be out by Wednesday to include the topics of each week. Thank you in advance for your support!

~ L MCDOW
Greetings Zion Family,
We are excited to invite you to join us for the next session of the State of Your Church series on Monday, February 23, 2026 at 8:00 PM (ET). We are honored to welcome Bishop Darryl B. Starnes, Sr., Senior Bishop of The A.M.E. Zion Church, who will lead us in exploring our next Dimension of Thriving Churches: Bible Centeredness.
The Bible Centeredness dimension examines how effectively a church helps its members understand foundational biblical teachings and apply them in everyday life. Thriving churches are not only grounded in Scripture—they intentionally cultivate environments where God’s Word shapes beliefs, guides decisions, and transforms lives.
We encourage presiding elders, pastors, preachers, lay ministry leaders, and the entire Zion family to attend and invite others to be part of this meaningful journey of learning and growth.
Yours in Christ,
Rev. Dr. Eleazar Merriweather
Executive Director
Department of Church Growth & Development
